Production at Bu-Ali Sina exceed estimations

TEHRAN (PIN) – The output of petrochemical products at Bu-Ali Sina Petrochemical Complex has reached more than 135,678 metric tons in the month of Ordibehesht ending May 21, which exceeded the predetermined goals by 110 percent.

The Public Relations Department of the National Petrochemical Company reported that the complex has produced 25,394 metric ton paraxylene, 12,910 metric tons of benzene, 2,942 metric tons of orthoxylene, and 94,432 metric tons of other petrochemical products.

During the said month, Bu-Ali Sina Petrochemical Complex has supplied Bandar Imam Petrochemical Complex, Amir Kabir Petrochemical Complex, Tondguyan Petrochemical Complex, and Farabi Petrochemical Complex with 80,825 metric tons of the main and byproducts.

The complex has also exported 32,550 metric tons of heavy cut (in three consignments) and 7,840 metric tons of benzene.

Bu-Ali Sina Petrochemical Complex, which is located in Bandar Imam Special Economic Petrochemical Zone, produces 400,000 tons of paraxylene, 30,000 tons of orthoxylene, 180,000 tons of benzene, 39,000 tons of liquid gas, 350,000 tons of light naphtha cut, 500,000 tons of heavy naphtha cut, 23,000 tons of high density aromatics, 21,000 tons of pentane cut, and 11,000 tons of heavy benzene pyrolysis cut per year.
